Aviv Hadar is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and operator with multiple successful exits across technology, consumer products, and hospitality. He is the Owner/Operator of Villa Valentin, an award-winning luxury destination resort in Sayulita, Mexico, and the original founder and Visionary CEO of Oregrown Industries, one of the most recognized vertically integrated cannabis brands in the Pacific Northwest.Aviv began his career in technology, studying Computer Science at the University of Montana before founding Think Brilliant Media Studios in 2007 — an award-winning digital agency behind viral cultural moments and major brand launches. His team created the global “I’m With Coco” campaign — one of the most successful internet movements of its era — and helped launch SoulPancake, now a major media brand with millions of subscribers and partnerships with top global companies. He was also a founding member of the first million-dollar Kickstarter campaign, raising nearly $1.5M from 12,000+ backers for an innovative smartphone product, and led Perfect Menu to profitability within one month before its acquisition.As the original founder of Oregrown, Aviv grew the company into a market leader — earning Best Dispensary in Central Oregon for five consecutive years and being named Startup of the Year by the Bend Chamber of Commerce. He also played a pivotal role in shaping early cannabis policy, serving on OLCC and NCIA committees, co-founding the Oregon Cannabis Association, and becoming the first individual in Oregon history to testify to the OLCC in support of statewide legalization. In 2015 he received the High Times Political Trailblazer Award for his impact on the industry.Aviv has been an active technology investor since the early smartphone era, backing major tech companies as early as 2007 and building a diversified global portfolio. Today, he focuses on enabling the next generation of founders — leveraging his cross-industry experience in technology, brand, product, policy, and exit strategy to help companies scale faster and smarter.
